Janice Wald Henderson’s fierce wanderlust, born from one teenage summer solo in Paris, led to decades exploring the world as a food and travel journalist, and to earning four national journalism awards. She’s traveled to 95 countries—some many times over—including the Russian Arctic and Antarctica. Cruising—particularly on expeditions or barges in faraway locales—is her passion. A two-time cookbook author and contributor to several travel guidebooks, she’s also been internationally syndicated, and penned pieces for numerous national magazines, including Bon Appétit, and websites like CNN.com and Today.com. She’s guested on national and hometown Los Angeles television shows, and currently appears regularly on American Forces Radio’s ontravel.com. Janice rarely leaves home without hand sanitizer and peanut M&M’s.
